On my way home!

Hi family and friends. I wanted to let you all know what's been going on the last few weeks/months. Recently I've been having trouble with my arm while biking and I went to the doctor. They did some tests and found that I have some problems with the discs in my neck. My mission president and I talked about it and we've decided it would be best for me to return home on an early release to figure out what's going on and to heal. It's been a long process of accepting the Lord's will, but I know He will take care of me. I'm headed home to Arkansas this week along with the missionaries going home at the end of their missions. Thank you all for your love and support. I pray the Lord will watch over you wherever you are. I know we are all His children and He wants nothing more than our happiness and eternal well being. My mission has been an amazing adventure of personal and spiritual growth. I will be eternally grateful for the time the Lord has allowed me to serve, and especially for the relationships and life-long friends I have made here on this beautiful island.
 繼續加油

A sister in the ward got married on Saturday, so I put my origami skills to the test and made her a wedding card!

Well, yesterday church was canceled because of a "typhoon." They called it on Saturday night, but we woke up Sunday morning to a blue, sunny sky. Haha. Saturday night the winds got really bad and some of the streets flooded etc. Sunday night it POURED rain and the second typhoon hit while we were sleeping. It's still raining and will probably keep at it until Tuesday. Happy Typoon season! We just got out of the rainy season, so now instead of always raining, it will be very hot with occasional storms.

This week was really good! We met with Sister Chen, who was baptized last week. We talked about the gift of the Holy Ghost and how to pray so that we can receive answers from Heaven. Our bishop told her that it's okay if she attends a different ward on Sundays... so we are still trying to help her understand the purpose of a ward and priesthood keys. We thought she got over that roadblock before her baptism, but it seems the bishop brought it back up again. On Saturday she took us out to a really nice lunch at a five course meal restaurant SUCH GOOD FOOD!

We also ate some really really gross squishy thing at a members house this week. Pic below.
